What a W13 job usually looks like
One building type dominates. The house we are called to most is a Victorian or Edwardian terrace that was split into flats decades ago. The ground floor keeps its original tiled hallway and the suspended timber floor under the carpet. The flat above has been re-carpeted three or four times by different landlords, each layer a little cheaper than the one before. That one fact decides most of our quotes, because a top floor flat is usually carpet throughout while the ground floor is hard floor with a rug on it.
West Ealing station going over to the Elizabeth line changed the letting market round here more than anything else we have seen in twenty years. Tenancies got shorter. More of them are taken by people working shifts, plenty of those at Ealing Hospital along the Uxbridge Road towards Southall, and check out dates now land on any day of the month instead of piling up in September. We work Saturdays because of it.
Parking is the part that costs everybody time. Zone H covers much of West Ealing and runs Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:30pm, so a full day clean needs a permit or a paid bay, and a bay goes on the bill at cost. Half a mile north the rules change completely. Drayton Green sits in Zone HH, which only operates 9am to 10am and 3pm to 4pm on weekdays, and crews get caught out by that difference constantly. Ours included. If you know which side of the line your street falls, say so when you ring.
We are over the Brent in Hanwell most weeks and down the Northfields terraces several times a week, and the price list does not change between one and the other. No travel charge inside the patch. Ring 020 8077 4655.

The minimum charge on one-off work is £67. Parking or congestion charges, where a visit needs them, are added at cost. Every end of tenancy clean includes the 48-hour re-clean: if the inventory clerk marks down something we cleaned, we come back and put it right free.

Questions people ask
How soon can you get to a job in West Ealing?

Do you charge more for a Saturday?
No. Weekend and evening work is the same rate as a Tuesday morning. Saturdays go first, so book them early.
Is there a minimum charge?
There is a £67 minimum on one off work. Most jobs clear it without trying, but a single room of carpet or one small oven on its own would hit it. Regular hourly cleaning is exempt.
Do I need to be at home?
No. Most of our regulars leave a key with us or fit a key safe, and on a move out clean the agent or the landlord often lets us in. That is fine as long as somebody tells us who is holding the key before the morning.
Which streets do you actually cover?
W13 first, then W7 over the Brent and the W5 side up as far as Ealing Broadway, plus Greenford and Perivale in UB6, and out along the Uxbridge Road to Southall in UB1. If you are sitting just outside that, ring anyway, because we are often closer than you would think.
